Angelo Kater vanconversions has dedicated its services to the design and manufacturing of aftermarket van conversions. Our products range from commuter dedicated transport (e.g. taxi’s and tour mini/midi busses) to custom conversions (e.g. campers and mobile offices) and government conversions (e.g. ambulances, mobile clinics etc). Angelo Kater is the market leader in such conversions.

OEM’s and motor dealers remain prepared to deliver their vehicles to Angelo Katers premises in Springs, however a collect-and-deliver service is also offered to dealers. The premisies is situated adjacent to the N17 motorway thus making access to the airport and other key locations accessable.

Due to the highly customised nature of the work undertaken in the production processes there is still “jobbing-shop” oriented operations, using relatively modern equipment to bolster quality and product efficiency. Nevertheless, a heavy reliance is placed on a large pool of semi skilled workers with many years of experience.
Consolidation into the Nuffield factory has allowed the introduction of more structured production lines, better control of labour, and better predictability of production deliveries.
